Your timeline is entirely up to you! While it’s possible to complete the course in a single day, spreading the experience over several days or weeks often yields better results. If you have the time, consider scheduling one or two “Love Language dates” per week. Some couples prefer to dedicate a weekend to engaging in deep, meaningful discussions..

HOW DO WE RECIEVE ACOMPLETION CERTIFICATE?

To receive a discount on your marriage license or to waive the 3-day waiting period, some states require proof from your premarital education provider that you have completed the course. Many churches and officiants also ask for similar verification. To obtain your statement of completion, email electronic copies of your course conversations to chaplaincox@lovelanguagemarriageprep.com. Chaplain Cox will then provide you with a statement that you can submit to the license bureau and/or church. Texas mandates 8 hours of coursework for the discount. Once you have completed the required hours, send your work to Chaplain Cox, and he will issue a completion statement.

First, I want to congratulate you. Your upcoming marriage is good – good for both of you, good for your family, good for the community, and good for the world.

You are now entering a period of wedding planning and preparation for marriage, which can be both stressful and overwhelming. However, it is also a wonderful opportunity to focus on each other and strengthen your bond.

Couples who dedicate time to love language marriage preparation courses can anticipate growing closer and being more prepared for marriage as they say “I do” and start their journey together as husband and wife.

I am thankful that finally, you have found each other. I am even more thankful that the two of you are about to become one. However, that does not guarantee a happily ever after. There will be trial, and there will be tribulation.
